Her debut Tamil film Chikku Bukku brought her a lot of attention, despite the fact that an established star, Shriya Saran, was paired with Arya.

Says Preetika: “The movie won me Tamil fans across the globe, who connected with me on Facebook and appreciated my work.”

Now, she's signed her first Telugu film with Varun Sandesh of Happy Days fame. The love story-cum-family entertainer is directed by newcomer Sravan, an associate of M.S. Raju. “I met Varun in Hyderabad for a photo shoot and we look great together. Also, the script is from the girl's point of view… so, I'm really looking forward to this one! As for Tamil, there are offers which will take some time to materialise. Hopefully, I'll be able to announce something soon.”
