Nearly 10-12 lakh people hit the roads in Cairo and stalled the administration to pull down the dictatorial Hoshni Mubarak government in Egypt. And Telangana leaders are claiming that they can create a much bigger crisis in Hyderabad, compared to the one in Egypt.
“If we give a single call, more than a crore people of Telangana are prepared to come on to the streets and block the way to Hyderabad, thereby paralyzing the government in the state. The Telangana Telugu Desam Party forum will fully support the Egypt-style of agitation to be taken up by the Telangana Joint Action Forum in the second week of March,” senior Telangana TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy said.
He said it was unfortunate that the Deputy Speaker was not allowing a discussion on the Telangana issue, when people in every nook and corner of the region were agitating for the separate statehood. “We will show our might in the coming days,” Nagam said.
