Lokesh Gives Tit For Tat For Jagan Mohan Reddy

In a tit for tat, Studio-N channel, owned by TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh, ran a story mocking at Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's Deeksha over fee reimbursement issue.

Taking pot shots at the former Kadapa MP, it wondered how he can look so energetic and fit after a week-long fasting. Pointing out that Jagan made a lengthy and fiery speech, attacking the Kiran Kumar Reddy government, without showing any signs of fatigue or weakness, the channel questioned how it was possible for a person who has been been on a week-long fast to maintain such energy levels.

The report, which made a mockery of Jagan's commitment to social causes, raised doubts over the genuineness of the fast.

Clearly, the spoof was in response to a similar damaging story done by "Sakshi" channel, owned by Jagan, when Chandrababu Naidu went on an indefinite fast in Hyderabad, demanding higher compensation for the flood-hit farmers. "Sakshi" channel had then dubbed the TDP leader's stir as fake. Replying to the political rival in his own coin, Studio-N alleged that the Jagan camp had mobilized the crowds by offering money. In fact, it telecast visuals showing some of the youth purchasing liquor bottles from wine stores. The report claimed that the youth had come to the city to attend Jagan's Deeksha.

"Those who watched Jagan addressing the public meeting at the end of the so-called fast will surely doubt the genuineness of the Deeksha," the report said.
